I have been taking photos since the day I discovered b&w film and the dark room at school. There were loads of subjects I enjoyed. I thought about being a vet, a doctor and a midwife but deep down, I knew I wanted to do something creative. So, I headed off to art college where I graduated with an BA honours degree in Fine Art Photography & Printmaking.
After that, I travelled the world, camera in hand, working and photographing everything from people to landscapes, the night sky to underwater. By 2005 settled down in Edinburgh with my husband Sam. After working for various photographers and a big photographic company, we decided to set up on our own. Clear Photography was our little home studio in the centre of Edinburgh on North Bridge. We were unique with our style and our approach to photography. Leaving behind the stiff, posed formality of wedding and portrait photography.
Clear Photography has evolved a lot over the years, flexing to suit our lifestyle and our growing family.
Now, with the kids at school full time we not only running Clear, but we are both focussing on our passions. Sam makes bespoke surf board fins and I love working with business owners on their brand photography, helping them to tell their story.
