What actually goes through my head during a shoot What actually goes through my head during a shoot? 🧠📸 Many, many micro-adjustments... Lighting, settings, angles, posture, timing... predicting the split-second smile! So much of it happens automatically now that I’ve been doing it for so long. And it's usually unnoticeable to the person on the other side of the lens. (Except maybe some mutterings that slip out while I'm changing things around) It's not just pressing the shutter - it’s taking care of all those details so you can just show up, relax, and be yourself. The best photography can often seem effortless - but effortless takes years of practice. . . #beYourOwnBrand #brandPhotographerEdinburgh #headshotsEdinburgh #photographyForBusiness

One thing I love about networking as a business ow One thing I love about networking as a business owner, is how you find your people. People who will meet me in the woods and dress as a ghost 👻 If this isn't your sign to give networking a go, then I don't know what is!
I have worked with Anna for many many years! We ha I have worked with Anna for many many years! We have around two to three shoots each year and each time we have so much fun... and get so many great images! Here are some of the photos I took and a snippet of what Anna had to say after our most recent shoot together: "I had absolutely the best day with Susan on this shoot. Felt like a relaxed and fun day out with friends rather than work and even better, I'm so, so happy with the images. We got so many to choose from. So many different settings and styles that will keep me going for ages on content. and the hair, make up and location were just on point. Thank you Susan - if you're thinking of booking then I highly recommend you do it!" These were taken at the stunning @listerplace - I will be back there on the 2nd October for more mini brand shoots. If you want a bit of the fun and some brilliant photos taken at the same time... head to my bio for more info! hair and make up: @rachelspencehmua and @hannahbaileymua . . . #beYourOwnBrand #BrandPhotographyEdinburgh #PhotographerEdinburgh #EdinburghHeadshots
