Valerie reached out to me looking for photos she c Valerie reached out to me looking for photos she could use across her profiles and update her website. Valerie hadn't had professional photos taken before so wasn't sure exactly what she needed. She knew she wanted photos that showed both professionalism and her approachability. We had a few calls, she filled in my brand questionnaire and together we created this fabulous set of photos! The best bit is, Valerie loved the whole process and is delighted with her photos! I couldn't let International Womens' Day go by wit I couldn't let International Womens' Day go by without a shout out to the amazing women that I have in my community... I am grateful to every one of you! There are so many of you wonderful inspirational women, so I typed “joyful” and "community" into my photo library… and here’s a random selection of the magic that came up! 📸 The pay disparity and the way women were treated in the workplace was a big reason for me starting out on my own back in 2005 - I'd like to say times have changed but I don't think they have... at least not enough!

Tess was getting a refresh on her website and need Tess was getting a refresh on her website and needed photos! She's a busy lady - physiotherapist and pilates/yoga/barre teacher who works from her home studio, a lovely local hall and outdoors in the park 🌳 There were so many wonderful parts of her business that a Story Session was the perfect fit. We decided to split the shoot into three parts so I could capture the different elements of what Tess has to offer. This was a lot of fun to shoot and thankfully Tess agrees - "From our very first meeting, Susan completely understood the vision and brief for my new website. Lesley and I have been planning this shoot since l Lesley and I have been planning this shoot since last year but for various reasons things didn't always line up (usually the weather! 🌦) When we finally got into the studio a few weeks ago, we had such a blast... and got a whole bunch of fabulous photos that show Lesley's fun personality - which is perfect as she is a Hen Do and events Planner!
